Canberra, Errol Willis from Wagga Wagga, represented Australia at the 2010
Oceania MX Teams Championship at Pukekohe, New Zealand, last weekend.

(fyi, all the MX Nats information now available on the Major Events homepage). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Return of recreational/enduro riding at ACTMCC Fairbairn Park for 2010 The Recreational Riding Committee is currently working with the club to put in place the main club insurance package for 2010. This is required prior to any recreational riding events. This is expected to be finalised within the next 2 to 3 weeks and it is then expected that Rec Ride events will commence in March. The website will be updated in March with the new Rec Ride Calendar dates for 2010. If you are interested in helping out on the club's Kickstart courses and helping bring new riders into the club, then have a look at the flyer and contact us! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Old but not past it? The ACTMCC encourages riders of all ages to enter Club events. That's why we support a new website/forum set up to support guys and gals still out on the track and pinning it in their forties (or thereabouts). Seeing everyone in your family thinks you're nuts, the OldRacer online forum may be just what you need. Don't matter if you race old or new, motocross or dirt track, enduro or trials, its all-in - there's even a forum group just for Cooma/Canberra/Queanbeyan racers. You need to read the indemnity form, complete the membership application, and send the application in with payment- and no time to lose!--------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kickstart training The Kickstart course tentaively scheduled for the 13-14th Feb 2010 has been postponed. We anticipate being able to reschedule for either late Feb or mid March, so watch this space for more info. We currently have 15 confirmed riders and anticipate only being able to accept another 9 entries.
